Studio Schicketanz approached this small Pebble Beach Cottage with a surgically-precise attitude towards brightening the interiors and opening the views out towards the golf course.

Walls were removed in favor of a great room with an open kitchen, and the team introduced to light and reflective materials so as to maximize available sunlight in this often-foggy location. Wherever structurally possible, Studio Schicketanz created ceiling coffers to house decorative lighting and installed mirrors on the majority of the existing millwork, all of which served to produce a dynamic backdrop for the clients’ extensive artifact collection.
